Meet Our Team
Medical Director Lauren D. Loya, M.D. is originally from Greensburg, PA and is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Northwestern University Medical School. She completed her Family Medicine Residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
She spent 10 years practicing Family Medicine, primarily as family medicine residency faculty. She served as the Associate Director of the family medicine program at St. Elizabeth hospital in Chicago, then as a faculty member at UPMC Shadyside Family Medicine Residency Program.
She left UPMC in 2008 to start her own integrative and holistic medical practice, The Hormone Center. The mission of the practice is to combine traditional medicine with a more holistic method of treatment that strives to uncover the root cause of illness rather than just managing symptoms.
She is a Board Certified Family Physician and holds an additional board certification through the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine (ABIHM).
Amy Hursh, D.O. is originally from Rhode Island. She graduated from Muhlenberg College (Allentown, PA) with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She obtained her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
She performed her Family Practice Residency at Frankford Hospital. Upon completing her residency she worked for the U.S. Navy at the Naval Weapon Station in New Jersey where she helped run the wellness program for the medical clinic on base.
Dr. Hursh’s philosophy: “I believe that the body has the ability to heal itself as long as it has the proper elements supporting it.” As a former competitive athlete, Dr. Hursh knows that diet, exercise, and sleep are vital to feeling 100%.
“I am happy to be working with The Hormone Center and doing something that I believe in. BHRT is like giving a plant water and sun to make it flourish. We are no different. This area of medicine is innovative and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.” Dr. Hursh most recently trained under Dr. Loya.
Kelly Robinson DNP, CRNP is from Washington, PA. She is a graduate of Duquesne University where she completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice. Kelly previously completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at West Virginia University. She has been in the medical field for the past 18 years where she has built a strong foundation both professionally and personally.
Most recently she has been working in the area of Mental Health.

Kim Kenseth, CRNP is originally from New Jersey. She graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She freelanced in web design and photo retouching working for clients such as Martha Stewart and Nike in New York City and Portland, Oregon before moving to Pittsburgh and deciding to pursue a career in nursing. It might seem quite a jump career-wise but Kim finds a connection in her love of learning a person’s story in order to help them get better.
Kim graduated from St. Margaret’s School of Nursing and obtained her Master’s in Nursing training as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner from Drexel University. She has worked in the fields of oncology and family medicine. She is currently pursuing a post master’s in psychiatry/mental health through Robert Morris University and recently trained under Dr. Loya.

Jeanie Anderson ND, originally from Ligonier, Pa. a graduate of Trinity School of Natural Healing, Warsaw, Indiana as a Traditional Naturopath, a member of the National Association of Certified Natural Health Professionals, Certifications in Total Body Modification, Natural Healing and Student of Ortho-Bionomy®.
Former owner of Anderson Health Emporium.
The body has the inherent ability to establish, maintain, and restore health. The healing process is ordered and intelligent. My role is to facilitate and augment this process, to identify and remove the obstacles to health and recovery and to support the creation of a healthy internal and external environment.
